The main thing from the statement of the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Affairs, Ambassador-at-Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Khakimov following his visit to Beijing:

- The member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization do not set themselves the task of turning it into a military-political bloc.
